Most motorcoach companies provide onboard WIFI to their customers. Be sure to ask that this service is provided when booking your tour bus. While touring some locations, however—particularly on Maryland’s Eastern Shore—you may find it difficult to get a cell signal, so expect some communication to be interrupted. Be sure to bring a charger with you on the bus to keep powered up at all times.

Many of the sites we visit are handicapped accessible and ADA compliant. When a site is not accessible all efforts are made to deliver the passenger and close to the experience as possible. Please contact our booking agent to discuss available options.

Yes! There will be bathroom breaks. Most groups, arriving in their own rented bus, will have a bathroom aboard the vehicle. Most motorcoach companies provide bathrooms for ease and use of their customers. While many of the sites we visit will have bathrooms for your use, other groups may be touring these sites as well. It is not uncommon while visiting a popular tourist destination that you may have to wait in line while other groups and customers make use of these facilities. it is highly recommended that passengers avail themselves of the bathrooms on their private bus whenever possible.

Our pre-formed group's tours are mainly operated by bus with several stops at which passengers disembark and walk through sites such as parks and museums. Most sites have some type of seating for those who are limited in movement. Our walking tours require passengers to stand/walk for periods of time from one to two hours. Places to briefly stop and sit down are available on all our walking tours. Look for the symbol, next to each tour description, for the level of physical intensity. If you have additional concerns about mobility please contact our booking agent to discuss options. 

While most of our tours are designed for adults, passengers as young 10 will get great value from our experiences. When including meals as part of your booking special children’s options are available. Tours designed especially for youth and school groups are available.

Trips vary in length from 3 to 6 hours depending on the tour. While some tours operate on a set time schedule, others can be tailored to the needs of your group and its time requirements.

A Step-On guide is an experienced tour guide who literally steps onto your bus when it arrives. The guide provides the onboard narration, navigates the journey and makes sure you will get in and out of each site in a timely manner. The Step-On guide does not drive the bus or make the behind the scenes arrangements for your tour. Like any other service provider, such as a waiter in a restaurant, you can show you appreciation for their work by offering them a gratuity at the end of your trip.

Our tours are conducted across the Chesapeake region which includes the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Baltimore, Annapolis and the Washington DC metro area. Tour groups can choose from a single day experience or extend their trip for multiple days and locations.
