Turn back time at Pemberton Hall, a riverfront plantation built in 1741. Costumed interpreters will guide you through four centuries of lower shore life of the people—enslaved and free—who called this home.

Our journey then continues to Poplar Hill Mansion, a Federal Era dwelling, and Salisbury’s oldest residential home. High ceilings, delicate woodwork, and stunning paint colors abound on this tour. Afterward we “Hail Britannia” with a Poplar Hill’s renowned British High Tea, featuring savory soups, tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jams, as well as pastries and soothing classic teas. If tea-totaling is not your “cup of tea” we’ll arrange for libations at a restaurant or pub where you can sample famous shore microbrews, distillery spirits, or locally corked wines with your meal.
